Do you ever marvel at the sheer amount of creative talent out there?

Exhibit A: Scherenschnitte: Cindy Ferguson for example.
I find papercutting wonderful. It takes incredibly simple materials, and a very simple concept (cutting paper) and these talented designers turn the simple materials and simple concepts into works of art. Or, works of craft. I'm still in need of a definition helping me to determine if some things are both. Anyway ... I digress.
Check this out.

It's that wonderful? I *might* be able to print off the template and recreate. But, create it? Conceive of it? No, not me. (See Copy Cat Forest for more details on the difference between wanting to create and being creative. I create. I am not particularly creative, in an original idea sort of way.)
Beautiful work, Ms. Ferguson.
Exhibit B: Checkout Girls' "Little Pink House Tutorial" at Sew, Mama, Sew.
(hold ... more coming)
Amendment: i never got back to this. Sorry!
